Susan was visiting the area and enjoyed her stay at The Shack. She took a tour of our working farm with Ron. Here they are with our pet sheep Simon photo bombing
Feeding our newest addition – everyone loves to feed the pet lambs if we’ve adopted any at the time of your visit
Fencing – during drought times, feral animals (kangaroos, pigs, foxes etc) cause havoc with the fences, it is a continual job to maintain them
Feeding time – feeding sheep in a drought is a tough task. During a drought this has to be done every day to keep our stock alive
Blackie the sheep – our pets are part of the family. Blackie was a favourite and loved attention. He was about 24 years old when he passed away in 2018
Feeding 2018 – feeding stock can be tough… but look at the colours in this picture…still amazing!
Bring in lambs to sort – most weeks there is sheep work to be done, see it happen, you might even be able to help
Ron feeding ‘the gang’
The family yabbying – we would be delighted to help you enjoy the very “Aussie” experience of yabbying IF we have yabbies in our dam and it’s the right time of year
How lovely sitting by the campfire – nothing better than sitting by a fire, set up for you, all ready to go… have a wine, nibbles platter on the table & enjoy doing nothing but relaxing
What a lovely mum she is
Feeding poddy lambs – you’ll love being able to feed some little lambs who are in real need of some TLC (tender loving care)
